ABSTACT: The aim of ENGAGEMENT project is a set of requirements and procedures to follow in the organizational structure and decision-making models in the industrial context, to facilitate and promote the participation of social actors in the research and innovation process. To do this, it will carry out a comparative analysis between sectors: ICT, Human Resources and renewable energy, on the current situation of the concept and approach RRI, and socially responsible criteria demanded by stakeholders, whose implementation in innovation processes will increase the social value, the acceptability of innovation and the emergence of new business models that embed sustainability and social responsibility throughout the entire business process.
The general concept of the project is based on the methodology of the Social Spaces for Research and Innovation (SSRI). They are organizational ecosystems in which research and innovation activities are directed by the needs, constraints and requirements of the beneficiary communities and stakeholders that benefit from the results. Based on this methodology, this project comes with the objective of transferring the requirements of these ecosystems for open innovation models of organizational structure in the industrial context, developing an RRI-inspired “SSRI-Methology” Roadmap and implementation plan of socially responsible criteria to be applied in the organizational structures of the entities of the sectors analyzed.
It is intended in this project, a set of guidelines and requirements to implement management models of the processes of research and open innovation, they reach the RRI approach, getting not only systematize these procedures involving stakeholders, but also contributing to the future standardization developments at European level.
